nation和country有什么不同?

其实nation与country这两个字的关系十分密切，但却完全不同 在中文的解释中，我们很难分别，但英文的解释却容易明白 nation根据牛津字典是：large munity of people

e and living in a particular territory under one erment 中文可译作（人类的社群，通常他们有共同的历史、语言等等，并居住在同一的地域上在一个 *** 之下） 而country根据牛津字典是：1)area of land that forms a politically independent unit; nation; state；所以，country可指国土、或国家；当然country还有其他的意思，如郊区等等 因此，我们可以看到，country可以包含nation，但却强调政治上的，主体。 而nation却是专指那在同一 *** 下的社群，强调是人。 2007-05-09 12:22:56 补充： country这个字也强调地土
