To begin的问题

放在句首的不定式有以下两种可能

【用作目的状语】如To begin the trip, I have to get myoutfit ready for it ahead of schedule. 为了开始这次旅行，我只好提前打点行装。
【用作主语】如 To begin the trip and get my outfit ready for it takes me two hours. (= It takes me two hours to begin the trip and get my outfit ready for it) 开始这次旅行并打点行装花费了我两个小时。

to begin　：首先, 开始。

例句：

1. Walk up! Walk up! The performance is about to begin.
   快来看! 快来看! 马上开演了。

2. I don't know where to begin.
   我不知道该从哪里着手。

3. How to begin is more difficult than where to stop.
   如何着手远比在何处结束来得困难。

4. I have several choices what to do. To begin with, I could do nothing!
   怎么干，我有好几种选择。首先，我什么也干不了！

5. I have to begin with an apology.
   我得首先表示歉意。

6. It's time to begin.
   是开始的时候了。
