1.Long long ago there lived many mice in an old house.They were free to do____.应该填anything,但为什么不可以填everything,从意思以及语法上都说得通. 2.Then _____the cat comes close,we will hear the bell and run away.答案要填when,但为什么不填if呢?我觉得这句话没有明显界限是时间状语从句还是条件状语从句?

应该填anything,不可以填everything
——————口语里面都可以用,但是作为书面语中,anything是只出现在否定句中的~
2.Then __when___the cat comes close,we will hear the bell and run away.答案要填when,不填if
——————————只要猫一来就能听见,when强调“一……就……”而if语气弱很多~
