I went in to work Saturday to interview applicants for two openings as teacher assistants. I was very impressed by the calibre of candidates that applied for these two jobs. I put them through a very through series of tests. All did well but two were outstanding. I recommended that they be hired.Afterwards, I met Changchen Yantian, the manager of a Sony outlet in the electronics mall that I frequent. I spent a couple of hours there—at least. These stores are very impressive. they definitely do not have the wonderful selections that the Canadian stores have but the Changchun stores are superb in customer service.When Changchen realized that her store did not carry external speakers, she listened as I explained what I needed and she then sent two of her employees to hunt around the mall for me. They brought back three sets of speakers for me to try; speakers they got from other stores.I got a nice small speaker set that does not need any electricity. It gets it✀s power from the USB port. It doesn✀t have a great powerful sound but it is far better than what I have been using so I am now happy with the sound I bring into the classroom.You will not get this type of service in any store in Canada. Yet, it is fairly common in that mall.
