I think a good teacher

My good teacher understanding is: the life and career of enthusiasm, dedication, have their own independent personality, have not mixed with dust love, fair, stick to their own life criteria. And I think in the concrete practice, the most important is to the student make no exception, the love mean to every student, do not discriminate against the poor students, the teacher in charge to work, try to make it fair, justice, careful care of every child at heart. It was as a teacher is the most important quality.
Idea of a good teacher should be funny gentle, carefully load one's pages with references, be strict with themselves, to set an example for the students. 我对好教师的理解是：对生活和事业热情、执着，有自己的独立人格，有不搀纤尘的爱心，公正正直，固守自己的做人准则。而我觉得在具体的实践操作上，最重要的是对学生一视同仁，把爱平均分给每一个学生，不歧视差生，在班主任工作中，尽量做到公平、公正，小心呵护每一颗童心。这是作为一个教师最重要的品质。
心目中的好教师应该是谈吐风趣文雅，讲课旁征博引，处处严格要求自己，做学生的表率。当然重要的还要有一颗爱学生的心，能与学生交上朋友。一句话：“学高为师，德高为范”。这应该就是对教师最基本也是最高的要求吧。

· Knowledgeable in Subject Matter. Good teachers are often extensively trained and well developed in their own academic area. And they often work hard so as to keep their knowledge of the field up to date.

· Careful Lesson Planning. Good teachers won't go to the classroom with their lessons unprepared. They often prepare lessons in advance so that class time is not wasted. Good teachers understand the importance of firm discipline policies and emphasize the necessity of regular attendance, punctuality, respect for teachers and other students, and good behaviour. They would be fair and consistent in class and make adjustment when necessary.

· Technological Competence. Good teachers never lag behind the technological development. They would integrate technology into their classroom lessons, because they understand that technology is not only a tool for increasing students' interest and motivation, but also a tool for improving teaching efficiency.
