Long long ago ,a man and his wife had a poor life .
One night ,while the man's wife was sleeping,the man was lying on the bed thinking about something . suddenly he heard a soft noise . And then he saw a thief enter their room . “It doesn't matter," he thought . "I am so poor that I have nothing that can be stolen . " So he pretended to be asleep and kept watching over the thief .
The thief looked around tha room . In the end he foung the rice in a jar under the table.
"But how can I take it away ?"the thief thought. Then he had an ldea ,he took his coat off and put it an the ground . After that he turend around to reach the jai.
The man understood what the thief would do . He picketed up the coat quickly and covered himself with it while the thief was turning around.
The thief lifted the jar, poured the rice out an the place where he had just put his coat. But to his surprise ,he found his coat had disappeared.
"Hey!"he creed.
The voice called the man's wife up . She asked her husband, "Did you hear any sound?Maybe there is a thief in our room."
"Nonsense(胡说）！”said her husband ."There is no thief in our room ."
"No , that's impossible ." the thief shouted ."If there isn't a thief ,then where is my coat?"

Last time when I visited Fairy Mountain Penglai, I noticed the sea level was much lower than before. It is highly possible that the mountain may turn into a dryland or a hill soon!” Wang Fangping smiled and added, “No wonder the Saints say one can kick up the dust while walking in the sea.”
Thereafter, people use “the sea turned into a mulberry field” to show the great changes are seen in the course of time, or swift changes of the world
