英文谚语问题

我从书中看.I am hungry.I can eat a horse.可否改作 I can eat a pig.I can eat a horse. 是否英文谚语

如果作为谚语引用时，a horse 不宜改为 a pig, 但是，在不考虑谚语时，可以改为a pig, 甚至可以改为＂an elephant"。汉语中也有许多谚语也被一些人改用，如：别吻我，我怕＂修＂（羞）。

I can eat a horse. 是当你问老外饿了吗？最常听的回答，也不叫谚语，应说是文化上习惯了。在此时不宜改成pig, 真的想改，夸张些改elephant 吧！
