表示“最高程度”的形容词，如excellent， extreme，perfect等没有最高级，也不能用比较级这句话是什么意思？能用例子解释说明下吗？如我可以说 very very excellent吗？

当然不能说very very excellent. 最高程度的形容词已经具备的最高级的属性，不必画蛇添足了。
eg. I brought it up from Billy for you as your home coming present.
That would be perfect.

excellent， extreme，perfect这三个词的程度已经是最高级了，因此不能再在前面加more或者the most
也就是说very very excellent是错的，用的话用一个excellent就能表示卓越了

一般情况，形容词有3种形态：一般，比较，最高。但由于一些特殊的形容词已有“最”的意思，便只能用一般形态。不行，这是中式英语，只说excellent就可以了

这类词不能通过后面加er或者est来变成比较级或最高级
但是可以用通过前面加
more/most 来变成比较级或最高级
the school has excellent teachers
He is the most excellent teacher of them
