鲁宾孙漂流记读后感Befoe had clearly shown the contrast between Crusoe’s and Friday’s personalities, as when Friday, in his joyful reunion with his father, displayed far more emotion toward his family members than Crusoe, whereas Crusoe never mentions missing his family or dreams about the happiness of seeing them again. I think Defore is very successful in introducing Friday as part of the novel, it makes the whole novel seem much more complete and gripping to the reader, as well as proving that Defoe’s ideology of racism is civilized unlike many other Europeans at that time; natives and savages are not worse than others but can perhaps even be more modern and civilized. Arthur, the Duke’s son, was found out in a certain morning to have disappeared, accompanied with which was also the disappearance of the German teacher. The school master Dr. Huxtable then turned to the famous detective of the time Sherlock Holmes for help. Realizing how tough and important the case is, Holmes immediately made up his mind to accept the case and followed Dr. Huxtable back to Mackleton by train. Having formed a rough idea about the whole matter, Holmes probed into the case immediately and had a careful investigation of the entire area shortly after the arrival, during the process of which he discovered the body of the German teacher Heidegger. Finally, primarily due to his prominent ability as a detective, he managed to unravel the mystery and obtained the twelve thousand pounds promised by the Duke.

The Old Man and the Sea is one of Hemingway’s most enduring works and may very well become one of the true classics of this generation. It played a great part in his winning the Pulizer Prize in 1953 and the 1954 Novel Prize for Literature and confirmed his power and presence in the literary world. Hemingway is also one of my favorite writers. Besides The Old Man And the Sea, I have read some of his other works, such as The Sun Also Rises, A Farewell to Arms and The Snow of Kilimanijaro. But The Old Man and the Sea is the one that left the deepest impression on me.
This novel mainly wrote one old person alone in marine fishes. He fished one big fish, tied up the fish head and the upper part of the body side the boat above. But he met the shark fish, the old person causes all one's skill and the shark fish fight, the shark fish the fish flesh which could eat all eats finished also has about 800 pounds.
This book promulgates the truth, not showed the person how regardless of, most feared is does not have the confidence. The confidence is just like is the automobile motor, is power which the person goes forward.

The protagonist, Jane Eyre, as the author depicted, is very plain. But almost every reader, including me, must prefer Jane to any other young ladies in this novel. I think Jane possesses a kind heart, an indomitable spirit, a sharp wit and great courage. She loves Mr. Rochester even more when loses his hand and sight.
She never gives up her own independence and never easily follows the instructions or advices from people around her. Instead, Jane Eyre choose insist on her own beliefs and standards.
At first, Jane Eyre met her best friend, Helen Burns, in the Lowwood School. Though they two really intimate to each other, Jane cannot totally agree with Helen’s ideas about life and people. As Jane grows up, she choose to leave the school and work as a teacher, regardless of the critiques from others.
After the secret reveals that the insane woman in the old castle attic the insane woman is Mr. Rochester's wife, Jane Eyre is not willing to lose her dignity, condescends to her own desire. Actually, she leaves resolutely and silently.
Because of those kinds of brave and independent choices, Jane Eyre becomes one of the greatest women in my mind definitely.

His father----a lazy, poor and wasn’t much respected by other villagers man was told he was a direct descendant of the most ancient and noble family and his real family name was d’Urbervilles. This changed the distiny of Tess. Tess would be distined to difficulty and sadness.There are two men affected Tess’s life. One brought sadness and suffering, he damaged Tess’s life, the other brought happiness and olso hurt, he was the man who Tess loved. In my mind Tess is an obstinate girl. After she lost her innocence. She still left Alec. She refused to take anything from him. She tried to earn a little money for her family. She kept depending on herself. At a dairy, Tess made herself independently. She made her life honesthy and work hard. As a dairymaid, her new life was beginning. She made friends with three other honest and generous girls. She soon loved the second man who affected her life. He’s name was Angel Clare who was thoughtful and educated. At last, Tess persuaded herself to marry him but life was not as Tess had wished. Angel left her at last. As soon as Angel persuaded himself he came back to find Tess who had just married Alec and had already lost her enthusiasm. After Tess had just knew she was cheated she killed Alec. During her last few days, Tess stayed with Angel who had loved her purely and believed in her as pure.

My favorite novel is <> which is written by Jules Verne. The author was born in France and devoted himself to literature and wrote several scientific romances, which gained him the name——Father of Modern Science Fiction.

This is a book of science fiction which tells us an exciting story about an English gentleman, Mr. Phileas Fogg, who makes a bet with his clubmates and manages to travel around the world in eighty days. It gives us a vivid description of the many difficulties and incidents which happen on his journey.

From this story, we can see the author's deep love for the sea, travel and adventure, which played a vital role in his life. We are also astonished and convinced by his fertile imagination and scientific and geographical knowledge
