when前面有逗号后面句子太长用逗号可以慢慢陈述。不信你把逗号去了读读看
至于后面有逗号
我觉得有两种理解
1.. 作者个人习惯吧这样减轻了读者负担因为后面句子比较长断几句不会读起来绕口
2..when 后面还是要跟语法成分完整的句子不要逗号应该是when our boat was mounting the waves
was mounting 是谓语但是没有was的话 mounting就只是个现在分词缺成分
所以用逗号的话 our boat mounting the waves 可以做名词成分举例说明吧
when+n., bulabulabula
when cooperation, we can achieve what we want
cooperation 和our boat mounting the waves是一样的成分

或者说 our boating mounting the waves 就如同 her coming out
但是因为boat是没有生命的主体所以不用说 our boat's mounting the waves.
而女她是有生命的所以要用所有格相信这种情况你看过很多比如 I was sorry for my being late
这样。
