请问一句的翻译 “这只小猫在树上”

麻烦翻译出来还请问这里的介词是用“on"还是”"in"?...

那棵树上有几个苹果。
There's a bird in the tree.
树上有只鸟。

即，长在树上的（是树的一部分）用on，不是树的一部分的“在树上”用in

所以小猫在树上，译为：This little cat is in the tree.

in the tree是指原本不是在树上的东西，跑到树上去了~

on the tree是指原来就长(zhang)在树上的东西，这个就很少了，也就是叶子啦，花啦，果子啦，什么的

所以in 可以指代的东西要更多一些！
