In color theory, 在色彩原理中，
a tint is the mixture of a color with white,
(a tint色泽 )是指用白色和其他颜色调。
which increases lightness,
这会增加颜色的明度，
and a shade is the mixture of a color with black,
(a shade色度)是指用颜色和黑色调。
which reduces lightness.
这会减少颜色的明度，
A tone is produced either by mixing with gray, or by both tinting and shading
(a tone色调)是用黑，白或者灰和其他颜色混调。
