make sense of和relate to的区别是什么?

Make sense of 后面接被理解的事物，比如混乱的情形，高深的文章，对一切逻辑上不make sense的事情捋出头绪的意思，多用在比较为其所恼的情境。例如：

I'm just trying to make some sense of this crazy situation.

This book is so over my head （over sb.'s head - 完全不懂）. I'm just trying to make some sense of it.

相反还有this simply doesn't make sense.这种用法。

relate to 后面一般接人物或其处境，意为与TA感同身受，仿佛可以经历相似的情感，更多是情绪上的而不是逻辑上的。例如：

She's been looking for a job for months and now it seems that she's tired of it. I spent half a year finding the right program for me when I was applying for the graduate school. I can totally relate.
