答：Halves有“two”的含义。如“请把这个苹果切成两半”这句可译作：
Please cut this apple into halves 也可说Please cut this apple into two.

half 的复数是:halves
4 too...to...句式中用something还是 anyting
eg.He was too excited to say _anything____
应该用anything.意思是：他太激动得什么话也说不出来了。

第二句话，“我不喜欢这种（类型）书，请另给我拿一本”前边的“书”和后边的“书”指的不是同一本“书”，所以当前边提到过一次书时，后边的“another one”中的“one”才指书，两者意思是不一样的。
