Dear Jack，

You asked about special ancient buildings in Ningbo in your last letter.Here I'd like to introduce Baoguo Temple to you. The temple is about 15 km from the city and was built in the Northern Sung Dynasty (c. AD1013) with over 970 years of history. It occupies an area of about 13,000 sq m, with the building itself of 6000 sq m.
The construction of Baoguo Temple is very unique. It was built with only wood and no nails were used at all. It has been vey well kept. So clean that there is not a single bird nest or any spider webs can be found in the entire building!
The temple sits in a very quiet location with beautiful sceneries. It attracts huge amount of visitors each year. It is a place you must not miss when you have the chance to visit Ningbo one day. If you do really come and visit me in the near future, I shall take you there and show you around.
